Work
It’s work! It doesn’t come natural. To pray, to listen, to read, or to be are all things not natural to me. It’s work. Yet the more I push off this work the more everything else becomes work. Not just church work but family, friends, and life. The goals isn’t to get ahead in these areas either. I wish I could just splurge on it and store up sometimes but I soon realize that this is motivation out of obligation rather then motivation out of devotion. The desire needs to be out of a wanting to be with the Lord, yet it is work and thus rarely my desire.
