Getting Dirty Part 4
It was another grand day in Ottumwa as Presidents day allowed us to put together another team to help reconstruct the Ottumwa Mission Outreach Center. On Saturday Habitat for Humanity came in and started the sheetrocking of the ceiling. They ran into a few question marks though around the different light boxes and were only able to hang a few pieces. On Sunday we asked if anyone from Third Church was willing to go down and see what we could do. Larry, Logan, Mike, Bob, Ron, Klint, Arvin, and Dave all agreed to help. These guy’s were amazing. There is something to be said about knowing what to do which these guys did but they also had the right tools. We were able to finish the job by noon. Later this week it is our hope to put together another crew for either Thursday evening or Friday and paint everything. Hopefully between now and then they can get it all taped and mudded. Here are a few pics from the morning.
