The Bridge

I can’t believe the first part of our Ephesus series is done already. The last three weeks just flew by. I’m totally jazzed about how things went. We successfully navigated through our first attempt at staging, we made the transition from keeping all our gear in the trailer to keeping it in the Bridge View Center, and we welcomed over 125 new visitors to The Bridge. This past Sunday we had a bottle neck at the theater door to get in when the service started. It was great watching our ushers scramble to hand out bulletins. Here were a few personal surprises from the past three weeks. I could not believe how attacked and gutturally sick I felt prior to the week 2 message on Ephesians 1. I was blown away by the amount of energy and time it took to set up our gear after our first week of storing it in in the Bridge View Center. I can’t believe I’m saying this but I am surprised by the number of answered prayers that our happening in our community and the Bridge. I was very bummed that Jenny wasn’t able to come this past week because Toby was sick and we didn’t get to process and share about the morning like we usually do Sunday afternoon. I loved that the slides in week 1 worked - something that didn’t seem possible until 5 minutes prior to the service.
